Fabric is somewhat rough & snags a teench.2) Neck/front trim and sleeve ends are just *great* - enough stiffness to be flattering (kinda kimono-ey). We like the bottom loop for the belt. 3) Ordered large/Xlarge. We are 5'6" & 5'8" and of average weight. If you like a robe where the top layer meets the other side seam, I would not size down. Later addition to review as of 12/17/12 - have washed many times in hot water - washes well - has not shrunk radically - still below knee & sleeve still wrist length. 4) This robe would be perfect for the budget-minded, students, guests, pool cabanas, etc. 5) Would I buy it again? Heck YES. I try to write reviews that are specific enough that others can make informed decisions.
