It was very roomy; almost too much so because the sleeves keep slipping off my shoulder, but I'd rather it that way than too snug. I'm 5'3" and the shirt comes to mid-calf, which I like. Other reviewers have said their shirts have shrunk but I haven't had that happen to the 4 shirts I've bought. In fact, because the first two 1x shirts were so large I ordered a size large for the next 2 and they're still roomy enough.
