If the reviews are not planted by the company themselves then the only thing I can imagine is that previous buyers have never actually seen a quality silk robe before. I generously gave it a 2 star review merely because of the very prompt shipping and the stylish packaging. Sadly the packaging was far better quality than the robe itself and much more elegant in design. I am so disappointed in this robe. It honestly looks like a piece of bulk silk fabric that was cut up by some junk drawer scissors and then somebody stitched another piece of silk to it for a tie. There is absolutely no styling or elegance to this SHEET of fabric at all and there certainly nothing classic about it. I will be returning it immediately for a refund. Package arrived nicely gift-wrapped and well within time for the day. Upon the opening of the gift, although my wife and daughter lauded the quality and beauty of the robe, I was to find out that the robe would likely not be worn too much in our cold house since it wasn't lined. This was to be a replacement for a well-worn, lined, silk robe. So, me, as the buyer, kind of missed the mark. I, too, noted and agreed that it was a very pretty robe, and of superb quality....oh well. So began the return process. Although I contacted TexereSilk about the return, I failed to see their near immediate response to my email, and, I failed to follow their directions in several ways . I sent the package to the wrong location, didn't include an invoice copy as requested. I was worried what my errors would cause. No worries!!
